How Caribana works here
- 1Day fetes run roughly 3 to 9 p.m. and night fetes 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.; the same crews run both, so weekend passes exist.
- 2Saturday is parade day; most people fete Friday night and Saturday night and recover Sunday afternoon.
- 3Buy early: the popular fetes sell their first tiers in May.
When is Caribana?
The Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade is the Saturday of the August Civic Holiday weekend; the fetes run from the Thursday before through the Monday.
What do Caribana fetes cost?
Early tiers at $15 to $20, rising to $25 to $40, with weekend passes from $65 to $150.
Where are the fetes?
A mix of outdoor day venues, King West and Entertainment District rooms, and boats from the harbour. Each listing shows the room.
