The Piston
The Piston is a small music venue and dance bar at 937 Bloor Street West, just west of Ossington subway station, open since 2010. Fridays are Wax Candy, a long running vinyl disco party. Saturdays rotate monthly between a 2000s video dance party, an 80s night, a 90s video dance party and Juicebox, an indie and Britpop vinyl night. Thursdays host Bodyclock with techno, drum and bass and house, and the room also books live shows. Entry is first come, first served, events are 19+, and the venue has a no backpack or large bag policy.
